CoreSource and Liazon Partner to Launch TPA Private Exchange Solution
LAKE FOREST, Ill. – December 2, 2015 – CoreSource, a national health benefits administrator, and Liazon, operator of industry-leading private benefits exchange Bright Choices®, today announced a partnership to create a new third-party administrator (TPA) private exchange solution for companies. The online storefront will be stocked with self-funded health plans chosen by employers with help from their brokers, and employees will have the ability to apply defined contribution dollars to purchase plans for themselves and their families.
“To meet the growing demand for our self-funded health plan design offerings and administration, and to better meet the needs of smaller employer groups, CoreSource teamed up with Liazon to more keenly educate, recommend and guide both employers and their employees through the annual benefits process online,” said Kim Fiori, Regional President of CoreSource. “It’s with complete confidence that we’ve entered into our first venture in the health exchange market.”
CoreSource’s offering will feature five high deductible health plan designs, five PPOs and two dental plan designs, as well as additional services, such as short-term disability income plan designs and wellness programs that employers can incorporate into their self-funded health benefit plan. A group’s employees will have access to support and personalized recommendations to help them decide which plans meet their unique health, financial and personal needs.
“This exciting, first-time partnership with CoreSource will empower more employees to take charge of their benefits portfolios and choose the plans that are most suitable for them as individuals,” said Alan Cohen, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Liazon. “Partnering with CoreSource on self-funded plans will further our efforts to offer a benefits strategy that focuses on the employee, while also providing cost predictability to the employer.”
This new product is immediately available to all interested brokers. To find out more about the CoreSource Complete Store Offering and to obtain a brochure, contact Susan Paul, CoreSource Employer Solutions, 614-932-7470 or email@example.com.
